    Hi Paul,
Thanks for posting this video. I’ve been banging my head on this topic.

Unfortunately, now that I’ve converted my clips, when I run Sony Movie Studio (Platinum Pro) it gives me an exception error and shuts down. Do you have any ideas? I had rolled back to Quicktime v.7.6.2 based on suggestions I saw in the Sony tech forums. Is that the version you have running as well, or are you running their most recent version (7.6.4)?

Hi Dawn, I’m on QT 7.6.4. Don’t have enough info to speak to your ‘exception error’ issue. The topic covers a wide range of challenges you may be experiencing. One quick check to rule out a corrupted conversion is to import your Zi8 .mov video into Windows Live Movie Maker ( a more robust version than the stand alone WMM). You should be able to view the video frames and hear the audio and determine any corruption.
